Each lesson includes a preparatory evocation phase, i.e., mapping the current knowledge of the topic, warm-up and motivation activities (brainstorming, mind maps). It is followed by two main activities related to the topic and the concluding part of the lesson includes reflection and final discussion. The main activities are based on participatory methods of experiential learning. We work in small groups and the emphasis is put on development of critical thinking and discussion. The lesson will be adapted to the current situation and requirements of the school. Some procedures are prepared for different levels of difficulty.
Teachers/specialists (who are experts on given topic and always work in pairs) are involved in the following:
- PREJUDICES AND BLACK AND WHITE PERCEPTION
- PHENOMENON OF HOMELESSNESS AND LIFE ON THE EDGE OF SOCIETY
- PHENOMENON OF MIGRATION AND REFUGEE CRISIS
- HOW CAN I POSITIVELY INFLUENCE MY SURROUNDINGS
- FAKE NEWS
One interactive talk (on one topic) covers 2 school periods.
